Notice Regarding Misleading Online Video Associations

It has recently come to my attention that certain unrelated video content has appeared online in association with the search of my name “Cy Mirol.”

I would like to clearly state that I have no connection whatsoever with these indecent materials and have never created, uploaded, or authorized any such content.

The matter has been formally reported to the relevant platforms and search engines, and removal procedures are currently in progress. The situation appears to involve misleading or malicious tagging of unrelated content, most probably introduced by individuals attempting to deflect attention from copyright infringements that I recently brought to light, regarding the conduct of some individuals, in the context of the IPEM and SPAM groups at UGent. According to information provided by the website hosting such tags, the regions associated with the uploads appear to correspond to networks around De Krook and university-based systems of these groups. The matter is currently being reviewed by the relevant services.

 My public and professional work is Bookperformance. It  is primarily shared through written publications, teaching, and cultural activities. My only social media presence is a modest Instagram page used as an archive of public, alongside facebook and linkedin.
