VIRTUAL-BODILY SOUNDSCAPES READING-WRITING

“Virtual-Bodily Soundscapes Reading-Writing: Bookperformance” extend Bookperformance by intertwining the act of writing with the performative presence of reading and writing through  body and sound within physical and virtual settings. These events explore how the body leaves traces in the virtual realm, binding the physical and the digital. This approach underlines authorship and presence, emphasizing co-creation and the shared experience between authors and readers (audience and participants). This practice praticularly based on my syneasthetic paintings and drawings that document the possibilities in sense-making mechanisms through sound and color. This concept reflects the embodiment of textual and visual narratives in virtual spaces, where the physical presence of the body is translated into digital forms. It invites interaction of participants to engage in a multisensory exploration of text as "virtual bodily soundscape writings”.  As a UGent researcher, I explore the possibilities of this work mainly explores at ASIL, in De Krook.
